It is that time of the year again when the who’s who of the entertainment fraternity bring out their best clothes and finest jewellery out on the red carpet. Yes, it’s time for Golden Globe Awards, 2012.
Besides earning nominations and winning 
awards the
stars look forward to getting featured in the best dressed list. The rich actors and actresses have all the money in the world but only few turn out looking like a million dollars. Right from the hairdo to their shoes, nothing misses the eye of the fashion critics and the general viewers.
So there were actresses who got it right.
The ‘Monster’ actress, Charlize Theron made an appearance at the Golden Globe Award’s red carpet wearing a peach colour gown by Christian Dior. But it was her vintage sparkling headband that made her look like a princess. Other pieces of jewellery that she wore were a simple pair of diamond stud earrings.
Age, marriage and kids have not affected Heidi Klum’s style sense even a bit. She is always one of the best dressed at any given event. At Golden Globe this year, her fashion sense has earned her a top spot again in the best dressed list. Heidi was wearing a nude colour backless gown which was accompanied by a huge turquoise necklace. The bold and beautiful necklace made her simple gown stand out among all the shimmery and glittery dresses.
Sofia Vargara once again impressed the fashion critics by her impeccable style. She walked on the red carpet wearing a blue Vera Wang gown that complemented her hour-glass figure beautifully. But what got her the most attention that evening was her sparkling diamond jewellery. She was wearing two diamond rings, two 62.72-carat bracelets and 31.58-carat earrings, all worth £ 3.25 million!
Let’s hope other ladies take a cue from these gorgeous women and be better prepared for the next set of awards!
