Good things never go out of style. They may maintain a low-profile for sometime but they surely make a comeback. For the simple reason, that there are some things that have a timeless appeal. Like gold jewellery!

Gold is Never OldConsidered to be old-fashioned, gold jewellery made a very fashionable comeback in the jewellery world.

Yellow gold is the traditional metal used to make wedding jewellery such as wedding bands. Gold is extremely durable and will stay with you for a really long time. Eventually as new takes place of the old, yellow gold was replaced by contemporary metals such as platinum, titanium and other such metals.

But the fashion world couldn’t stay away from gold for long. Big, bold pieces of gold are now often spotted on models walking the ramp for some of the big names in the fashion industry. Many celebrated faces were also seen wearing gold statement pieces that earned them a spot on the most stylish list.

A few years back Julia Roberts made an appearance in a short black dress, wearing a gorgeous vintage gold necklace. This beautiful piece was made in 1972. It comprised 29 citrines surrounded by diamonds and was set in 18k yellow gold. Jessica Alba also choose to wear a vintage style inspired gold choker necklace and matching bracelets to break the monotony of her simple...
